The government on Friday informed the Rajya Sabha that names of 13.58 lakh voters in the national capital have been deleted from voters list by the Election Commission. The police on Friday arrested three persons, who allegedly killed a 25-year-old man in Safdarjung Enclave. A senior police official said that the accused, Sumit Katcher, Rahul, alias Bobby, and Vijay, alias Sanjay, were arrested following a tip-off.
Barapullah corridor to link Mayur Vihar
Delhiites will be able to travel from east to south and central Delhi in 10 minutes as the proposal of connecting Barapullah elevated road with Mayur Vihar Phase I has been approved on Thursday. Lieutenant-governor Najeeb Jung approved the project at a meeting of Unified Traffic and Transport Infrastructure Planning and Engineering Centre. The project will cost around `700 crores. It will start in 2014 and finish in year 2018.
