Confusion on cost to take athletes to Taj
The Organising Committee of the Commonwealth Games 2010 continues to fail to get its projections about expenditure right.
Its grand plan to take all the 5,000-odd athletes to a trip to Taj Mahal, which is less than 200 km from the city, was supposed to have cost the OC `1.75 crore. This was the estimate in June this year.

Confusion and chaos continue to prevail in preparations for the Delhi Commonwealth Games (CWG). About 25-30 ships carrying heavy equipment, like tower airconditioners, tents, and other such materials for CWG 2010 from South Africa and Australia, are reportedly stuck on the high seas.
