Maya needs more money for statues

UP chief minister Mayawati needs another Rs 489.46 crores to complete the various parks and monuments dedicated to dalit icons in Lucknow.
In the supplementary grants tabled in the state Assembly on Tuesday, the state government has sought an additional sum of Rs 409 crores for completion of the Kanshi Ram Eco-park while Rs 23 crores have been sought for the Kanshi Ram Smarak that is nearing completion.
