Body of missing girl recovered from trunk
The naked body of a Class 11 girl was recovered from inside a trunk hidden under a bed at her uncle’s house at Nokari village in Ranaghat on Wednesday morning.
The girl, identified as Mithu Pranamik, a student of Ranaghat Debnath Institution, was missing since July 3. The uncle of the deceased, Rabi Dutta, 42, is absconding.

Raman calls for national strategy against Naxals
