Suspected Karbi rebels on Saturday abducted a senior officer of Indian Forest Service and a ranger who went to supervise forest of Karbi Anglong hills in Assam.

Yoga guru Baba Ramdev was targeted by an agitated youth who threw black ink on his face for refusing to answer his query on the controversial Batla House encounter at the Constitution Club on Saturday where he was addressing a press conference.

A massive hunt is now on for the mastermind who has been identified as Ahmad Siddi Bappa, alias Imran, alias Shahrukh, alias Yashin, a resident of Bhatkal in Karnataka.
