Najeeb Jung takes oath as 19th L-G

Former IAS officer Najeeb Jung took over as the new lieutenant-governor of the national capital on Tuesday. Former vice-chancellor of Jamia Millia Islamia, Mr Jung was administered the oath of office and secrecy by Acting Chief Justice of Delhi high court B.D. Ahmed at a function at Raj Niwas in the presence of chief minister Sheila Dikshit, ministers and top brass of Delhi government and police.
