Ajay will not be part of sequel
With the completion of a successful 100 day run of her movie Once Upon A Time in Mumbaai, producer Ekta Kapoor has already announced the sequel of the movie.
Prachi likes the cute tag
Prachi Desai has been labelled with the cute tag in Bollywood. The actress has been trying to change it by doing different kinds of roles.
Katrina inspired by a cat for role of Aliya
We’ve all heard stories about actors drawing inspiration from various sources. But, for the first time, we have heard of an actress being inspired by an animal. Yes, strange but true. Katrina Kaif says her role in Tees Maar Khan was inspired by a cat. Well, not literally, but Katrina says her role was inspired by the Walt Disney Productions’ The Aristocats — an animated feature of the 70s. Katrina likens her role of Aliya Khan to that of a real cat.
Catapulting to success
It may be the hair — but Aditya Roy Kapoor’s unconventional looks have taken him on a rollercoaster ride that brought him three films with the biggest stars and directors in Bollywood. The VJ-grown actor who just turned 25, says he couldn’t have asked for a better birthday present, “I don’t know, but yes, the hair worked as director Vipul Shah and Sanjay Leela Bhansali thought it fit the roles. Still, I am ready to chop it and experiment with my looks in the future,” he laughs.
Kiran steps out of Aamir’s shadow
We have seen her with Aamir Khan at several events and promotions. And her movie Dhobi Ghaat has kept Kiran Rao, Aamir’s wife in the news for some time now. At the release of the first look of the film, Kiran spoke about her husband. She said, “Aamir is a dream actor and producer to work with. We often have our fights and differences, but when it comes to work, he is the best actor and producer to work with,” she said.
Katrina big on woman power
Katrina Kaif who has had several hits to her credit is very excited about her two forthcoming releases— Farah Khan's Tees Maar Khan and Zoya Akhtar’s Zindagi Milegi Na Dobara. Well, coincidentally both the films are with women directors and this is the first time that Katrina has worked with them.
Akshay adept at flicking stuff
Akshay Kumar may be playing a con man in Tees Maar Khan, but few know that the actor is adept at flicking a watch or a chain without the person getting to know. Explaining his knack for doing so, the actor laughs and says, “It’s something I have learnt because of my martial arts. We know where to touch a person’s nerve and
Priyanka to play Madhur’s Heroine?
There seems to be a lot of mystery surrounding Madhur Bhandarkar’s forthcoming project, Heroine. First, there is the question of who will play the lead since Kareena does not clarify whether she is in or out of it. Then is the rumour that Bhandarkar even approached Aishwarya Rai Bachchan to do the role after Kareena ostensibly refused. Kareena apparently had asked Madhur to tone down the steamy scenes. But, when asked Kareena had said, “I have not got the complete script as yet so I cannot comment.”
Gay bubble bath all froth
Director Sanjay Sharma’s Dunno Y Na Jaane Kyun deals with homosexuality and heterosexual complex relationships. The film has done extremely well at film festivals all over the world but I wonder how the Indian audience will react to a film about a subject that is still taboo.
Rani and Vidya bond big time
While in Bollywood it is said that no actresses can become good friends, Rani Mukherji and Vidya Balan have proved otherwise. The actresses who shared cold vibes in the beginning have changed and their camaraderie is a topic of much discussion.
