9 dead, 70 hurt in Bengaluru tower inferno
People break glass panes to let out the smoke at Carlton Towers in Bengaluru on Tuesday. Nine persons were killed and 70 injured after a fire broke out in the eight-storey commercial complex. Three persons died after jumping from the top floors of the building while six lost their lives due to severe burns and asphyxiation.
