Vested land leased out to real estate players
In what seems to be a major scam, the Kolkata Metropolitan Development Authority (KMDA), a statutory authority under the state urban development department, has leased out many acres of vested land to the real estate developers adjacent to the EM Bypass which were given by the state land and land reforms department for the
purpose of construction of road and infrastructure development. State land and land reforms minister Abdur Rezzak Mollah has sought a detailed report on this from the KMDA within seven days’ time.
“The land and land reforms department had given around 100 acres vested land to the KMDA in between Parama Island and Garia for the construction of road and infrastructure development. However, a major portion of the land has been leased out to the real estate developers by the KMDA,” Mr Mollah said.
He added that his department would demand market price of the land from the KMDA after it submits the report.

If Abdur Rezzak Mollah is sincere and honest ., he must expose the Minister of Urban Development. I am confident that similar illegal activities are being held in MKDA(Midnapore Kharagpur Development Authority). These are the source of rarning of bureaucrats ,politicians and party workers.
