Congress MLA surrenders before court in murder case
Senior Congress MLA Sawna Lakra on Tuesday surrendered before a Jharkhand local court after a warrant was issued against him in a murder case.

The Fir was filed against Lakra with the Namkum police station here after the father of a youth, Avinash Tiwari, charged the legislator with abduction and murder of his son.
The bullet-riddled body of Avinash was found on April 27 at Lodhma in Khunti district, about 30 km from here.
The bodyguard, who was also named in the Fir, had earlier surrendered before the court.
