Residents of several South Delhi areas had to sweat it out with long powercuts all through Tuesday. Delhi Transco Ltd attributed the disruption to work for installing a transmission tower near the Rajokri flyover to ensure power supply to Delhi airport. The heavy powercuts are likely to continue till the coming Sunday.

Indicating a political realignment in the Andhra Pradesh, Praja Rajyam chief Chiranjeevi on Saturday met Congress president Sonia Gandhi in New Delhi and agreed to support Congress nominees in the Rajya Sabha elections.
