The Supreme Court on Tuesday dismissed the anticipatory bail plea of former cricketer Jacob Martin, facing arrest for alleged involvement in an emigration racket, saying no relief can be granted to him as he is running away from the law, and asked him to surrender.

Vasan on Monday called on party supremo Sonia Gandhi and party general secretary Rahul Gandhi and sought to persuade them to remove Mr Thangabalu from the president ship of the state unit.
