Mayawati is richer by Rs 34 crores

UP chief minister Mayawati has assets worth Rs 86 crores — Rs 34 crores more than what she had in 2007.
In an affidavit filed with her Legislative Council nomination papers on Wednesday, Ms Mayawati declared she has Rs 12.95 lakhs in cash and Rs 11.39 crores in bank deposits.

The Air India employees’ strike had led to large-scale disruption of flights of Air India (domestic). Well over 100 flights were cancelled by the airline during the 30-hour strike even as about 13,000 passengers were affected by the strike that cost the airline about Rs 12 crores.
