Mayawati is richer by Rs 34 crores
UP chief minister Mayawati has assets worth Rs 86 crores — Rs 34 crores more than what she had in 2007.
In an affidavit filed with her Legislative Council nomination papers on Wednesday, Ms Mayawati declared she has Rs 12.95 lakhs in cash and Rs 11.39 crores in bank deposits.
She also has 1,034.26 gms of gold, a silver dinner set worth Rs 4.44 lakhs, murals worth Rs 15 lakhs, and diamonds valued at Rs 86.8 lakhs.
UP chief minister’s two flats in New Delhi are valued at Rs 2.05 crores and Rs 1.27 crores, plus another property worth Rs 54.8 crores and one in the Okhla area valued at Rs 15.50 crores.
Her Lucknow Cantonment bungalow is worth Rs 1.80 crores.
Like many politicians, Ms Mayawati does not own a car, and has no insurance policies.
