Militants held in Nizamuddin

The special cell of the Delhi police has arrested an alleged militant affiliated with the banned People’s United Liberation Front (PULF) along with his associate from Hazrat Nizamuddin area of southeast Delhi on Tuesday.

Delhi plan outlay Rs 11,400 crores

With the release of the Annual Plan 2010-11, the Delhi government on Wednesday confirmed approval of Rs 11,400 crores in the plan outlay. The plan size will be funded with the Central Plan Assistance of Rs 1,284 crores and the Delhi government’s own resources of Rs 10,116 crores, stated Delhi government officials.
The Annual Plan was released after a meeting between the Delhi government and Planning Commission officials.

Terror links of official probed

The central investigating agencies, including CBI and the National Investigating Agency (NIA), are probing the alleged terror links of a high ranking official of the Assam government, detained by the security agencies.

CNG prices up by 25 per cent
