Man shot at, falls off flyover

A factory employee was shot at and robbed of `6 lakhs by four bikers at Jyoti Nagar in northeast Delhi on Monday morning.
The victim, identified as Kuldeep Singh, 32, who worked at a picture tube manufacturing unit in Wazirabad, had left his Amar Colony residence of Jyoti Nagar at around 9.30 am on Monday on a motorcycle, the police said.

TRP panel for increase of sample size

A committee constituted to review the Television Rating Point (TRP) system submitted its report to information and broadcasting minister Ambika Soni on Monday. It has recommended increasing the sample size from the present 8,000 homes to 30,000 in both rural and urban areas over the next three years.

45-year-old labourer dies of cold

Biting chill claimed the life of a labourer at Model Town in northwest Delhi, the police said on Monday.
The police said, 45-year-old Karamvir was found lying dead outside a temple in Bharat Nagar area of northwest Delhi. Karamvir was working as a menial labourer and his body was spotted by a pedestrian who alerted the police control room.

Chandramohan plea: SC notice to bar council
