Tihar to get solar water heaters
Now the inmates lodged in the Asia’s largest Tihar Jail will get hot water during the winter season. The Tihar authorities have confirmed that they are planning to set up solar-powered water heaters in the jail. According to jail officials, at least 16 such heaters will be planted on the roofs of the jail.

A toll collector on the Delhi-Gurgaon toll road was shot dead by an unidentified commuter. The incident occurred very early Friday morning at the NH 8 toll plaza. The deceased was identified as toll collector Umesh Kant Pandey.
