‘Peeping Tom’ constable beaten up

A constable attached to J.P. Nagar police station was beaten by some people on Tuesday night alleging that he was a ‘peeping Tom’ who had shot videos of women.

The constable Srinivas, however, denied the allegations and no case has been registered till now.
A group of residents of the area got hold of the constable and beat him up for his alleged ‘perverted behaviour’. Some residents alleged that the constable used to peep into homes at night and had even taken videos of women taking a shower. However, the JP Nagar police station house officer, said, “Srinivas was a tenant in one of the houses and the people who have made the allegations wanted him to vacate the house. These are mere allegations as, till now, they have not come forward to file any complaint”
