Shweta’s married

TV’s yummy mummy, the beautiful Shweta Tiwari, got hitched to beau Abhinav Kohli at a 5-star hotel in Mumbai on Saturday. This was preceded by a star-studded mehendi and sangeet. The reception is scheduled for July 17 and will be held in Abhinav’s hometown, Bengaluru.

We got in touch with Shweta’s close friends from the industry, who were full of good wishes for the couple. Shweta’s Kasautii Zindagi Kay co-star Urvashi Dholakia said, “I will be attending Shweta and Abhinav’s wedding tonight. I wish them a wonderful married life and happiness always.”
Another Kasautii co-star, Karanvir Bohra too confirmed his presence. He said, “I am very excited. Since our Kasautii days I’ve been calling her mamma and she calls me son, as she played my mom in that show. She’s been telling me it’s rare that a son will attend his mom’s wedding!”
On the other hand, Manish Paul, who hosts Jhalak Dikhlaa Jaa (in which Shweta had participated this season) informed us that he had to skip the wedding as he was shooting in Delhi. “I will try to attend the reception, but with my hectic schedule I doubt I can be there,” Manish rued.
Shweta was earlier married to actor Raja Chaudhary and the couple has a daughter, Palak, who was very much a part of Shweta’s wedding festivities.
