‘Kushal, Gauhar are very bitchy’

Hazel Keech is the first contestant to be evicted from Bigg Boss 7 on Colors and the actress admits that it came as a shock to her as she was confident about staying on the show longer. When we caught up with her she said that she has been unwell, and is happy to head home.
Sharing her experience on the show, she says, “I was shocked to see the jannat or jehannum demarcation. The jehannum section had a very rural setup and we had a tough time with less food and no proper water facilities.”
Hazel shared that while the house has some good people it has its set of fakers too. She says, “I liked Elli Avram, Shilpa Saklani, Ratan Rajput and Armaan Kohli as I found them to be clean hearted. Kushal Tandon, Gauhar Khan, Pratyusha Banerjee and Kamya Punjabi are very bitchy. Andy is funny but disrespectful towards people.” While her stay may not have been all that pleasant, she did have some memorable moments. She says, “I enjoyed the task where we were made to churn a wheel all night. We played antakshari and danced to keep ourselves entertained.”
As Hazel headed home, we asked her what’s the first thing she wishes to do and she said, “I want to enjoy a hot shower, have a lot of food and sleep on my comfortable bed.”
She, however, does not rule out the possibility of making a comeback as a wild card entry: “If I am called back, I will return, but I have a few films in the pipeline that I want to focus on. I have had my share of reality TV.”

Livin’ on the edge
We hear Aarav Choudhary who plays Bhishmah Pitamah in Mahabharat narrowly escaped being injured. The actor shares, “It was a major fight sequence between Bhishmah and Parshuram. The swords we used may not be sharp, but each weighs about 15 kg! I was fighting with one hand only. Parshuram swings the sword above my neck but by a miscalculation, it swung by my neck. Fortunately it touched my hair but not my neck.” — NC

I want to begin with a little story that was told to me by a leading executive at Aptech. He was exercising in a gym with a lot of younger people.

Shekhar Kapur’s Bandit Queen didn’t make the cut. Neither did Shaji Karun’s Piravi, which bagged 31 international awards.
