Accident on sets of AKA

Here’s some news that we chanced upon from the sets of Siddharth Kumar Tewary’s Amita Ka Amit on Sony. A source from the show tells us, Nishad Vaidya aka Amit was recently shooting at Filmcity, for a scene that required him to drive a car. While at the wheel, Nishad rammed into a bike, injured his leg and damaged the vehicle. The angry biker refused to let the shoot continue. Ultimately, the production house had to pay a hefty amount to settle the matter. Nishad was very apologetic, and later overheard praising the production team for the way they handles the matter. He added that all the actors were treated as family members.

DRASHTI INJURED

Sources from the sets of Jhalak Dikhlaa Jaa 6 on Colors reveal that one of the strongest contestants, Drashti Dhami, injured herself during the rehearsals this week. A source says, “Drashti and Salman are doing a tribal dance this week. Drashti was rehearsing a complicated step when she fell face down. The crew rushed to her aid and she was asked to rest for a while.” — NC
