Stosur swings into French Open third round

Australian eighth seed Samantha Stosur, last year's beaten finalist, swept into the French Open third round on Wednesday with a 6-0, 6-2 thrashing of Romanian 19-year-old Simona Halep.

Stosur, the world number six, will face either Bulgarian number 32 seed Tsvetana Pironkova or Argentina's Gisela Dulko in round three.
