Rain brings Wimbledon action to early close

Heavy rain brought play to an early conclusion on the outside courts on the fifth day of Wimbledon on Friday.

On Court One, defending men's champion Rafael Nadal had taken the first set 7-6 (8/6) against Luxembourg's Gilles Muller in his third round match when play was halted at 1640GMT.

But action continued under the Centre Court roof where British fourth seed Andy Murray was taking on Croatia's Ivan Ljubicic for a place in the last 16.
