Djokovic reaches second round at US Open

Defending champion Novak Djokovic advanced to the second round of the US Open on Tuesday with a 6-1, 6-0, 6-1 victory over Italy's Paolo Lorenzi.

Serbian second seed Djokovic was broken in the first game but won 18 of the next 19 games to win after just 73 minutes on the court. Next up for Djokovic will be either Rogerio Dutra Silva of Brazil or Russia's Teymuraz Gabashvili.
