Lewis Hamilton wins Italian Grand Prix

Lewis Hamilton won the Italian Grand Prix for the first time in his career here on Sunday and record his second win in the last three races.

The McLaren driver - who has been linked with a move to the Mercedes team - beat home Mexican Sergio Perez in a Sauber while world championship leader Fernando Alonso was third in a Ferrari.

Defending world champion Sebastian Vettel failed to finish as did his Red Bull team-mate Mark Webber.
