Asin is a promise keeper, especially when she is planning to have some fun with her friends. Once, the actor makes a plan, she follows it to the last minute no matter what comes.
Recently when Asin was in London, she was keen on watching The Phantom of the Opera, with her friend, cousin and herself. Unfortunately it was pouring heavily in London that day, and her driver had left without her because of some miscommunication. Besides, the heavy rains made it difficult for the actress to find a cab too. But that didn’t stop Asin from keeping up with the plan as she risked getting drenched in the rains, and took public transport to reach the venue.
Says the friend, who accompanied Asin along with her cousin during this adventure of hers, said, “Knowing Asin, I knew that she would be bindaas, but I was a little taken aback when instead of rescheduling her visit, she insisted on making it to the show. I was worried about her getting mobbed by those who have seen her work. But she was totally cool and remained unfazed.”
As expected, within a few minutes of hitting the road she was recognised by the Indians. Fortunately there wasn’t much trouble as they were happy getting her autographs and taking photographs.
However, this wasn’t the end of it all. “The walk from the bus to the theatre doors meant getting further drenched, but Asin enjoyed that. And once the curtains went up, and the show began, all was forgotten. We had a blast,”she added.
