Amitosh Nagpal who played Sonakshi Sinha’s brother in her debut venture is still reeling under the success of Dabangg. The actor is now looking forward to another biggie — Prakash Jha’s Aarakshan.
Speaking about his role in the movie Amitosh says, “I play the role of a student named Panditji who has financial problems and misses on his admission due to the minority quota. All his life he has worked hard but misses out on the admission by merely one percent. Dr Prabhakar, played by Amitabh Bachchan finally admits him into his college.”
More than the role, it is the opportunity of sharing screen space with the Big B that Amitosh is most excited about. “Every actor feels that the turning point of his career comes when he gets to share screen space with an actor like Amitabh Bachchan. I was very nervous but Mr Bachchan was very accommodating,” he says.
Amitosh began his career as a model and has several commercials to his credit. Apart from acting, he has written ads and has been the dialogue writer for Oye Lucky, Lucky Oye.
