[1]Japan should invest more in Pakistan, President Asif Ali Zardari has said. Zardari made the point when he met Japan’s deputy foreign minister Koro Bessho here on Thursday, the Associated Press of Pakistan reported.
They discussed bilateral relations and also the state of militancy in Pakistan, the report said. The President said several projects in infrastructure, power and health sectors in Pakistan were examples of the long-standing cooperation between the two countries.
Bessho assured Zardari of Japan’s continued support to Pakistan for revival of its economy, combating terrorism, overcoming the energy crisis and infrastructure development.
