To cash in on the attention that Bhatta Parsaul got after Rahul Gandhi’s visit, the Congress will now organise public hearings across the state for farmers on land acquisition issues from June onwards.
The public hearings will be held at all tehsil headquarters in the state, according to UPCC spokesman Subodh Srivastava.
The party plans to collect information from farmers regarding land acquisition and hand them over to the concerned district magistrates for redressal.
