Gilchrist rampage takes Punjab score to 231/2

A magnificient innings by Adam Gilchrist has taken the Kings XI Punjab to a whopping total of 231 on Dharamsala's hard track.

Bangalore could only watch as Gilchrist demolished the bowling attack, sending almost every ball to the boundary. The hard-hitting Aussie's rampage came to a rest at 106. The crowd applauded as he returned to the pavillion after a catch dismissal.

Bangalore is now looking at some Gayle-force cricket to take them out of this situation.

Also joining Gilchrist was Marsh, who did equal damage to Bangalore's bowlers. It was the highest partnership in T/20. The match also had the highest number of sixes ever.
