[1]April 11: Malabar Gold, the largest retail jewellery group in south India, has selected Tollywood actor Junior NTR as their brand ambassador, as it goes ahead with the expansion plans in the state.
The tie-up with the actor will help the company to communicate effectively with the people of AP, claims Mr O. Asher, the regional director of Malabar Gold.
The jeweller plans to open 12 showrooms in the state by the end of 2012. While the showroom in Tirupati would be launched shortly this month, the outlets in Visakhapatnam, Vijayaw-ada, Rajamundhary, Gun-tur, Kakinada would come up in 2011. The company would add six more outlets in other locations of AP.
