Chile cops may have arrested IC-814 hijacker

Police in Chile have reportedly detained a man, who the CBI believes may have been involved in the 1999, IC 814 Kandahar hijacking.

The agency is sending a team to verify and quiz Abdul Rauf who was held for a 'fake passport'. Some more checks by the Chile police revealed an Interpol notice against Rauf's identity.

Rauf was arrested in January.
