[1]One Palestinian was killed on Friday in a fresh Israeli air strike in the southern Gaza Strip, medical sources said, in what was the second deadly strike of the morning.
The latest raid hit a target in Qarara, northeast of Khan Yunis, killing one man and injuring two, emergency services spokesman Adham Abu Selmiya told AFP.
An earlier strike had killed two Hamas militants in Khuza'a, which lies just east of Khan Yunis, medical and military sources said.
The Qarara air strike took place just minutes after Israeli police said six rockets had landed in Israel, hitting an area north of the Gaza Strip.
Hours earlier, militant groups in Gaza had agreed to stop firing rockets into Israel.
It was not immediately clear whether the air strikes had signalled an end to the truce, or whether the firing of rockets was carried out by a recalcitrant group who had not signed up to the ceasefire.
