Most universities and colleges have to deal with students doing drugs on campus, but at Georgetown University, cops busted a drug lab run by students themselves!
Yes, two freshman John Romano and Charles Smith along with another student belonging to the University of Richmond were manufacturing the hallucinogenic drug DMT, or dimethyltryptamine in their room.
It has been reported that these drugs which can either be inhaled, injected or smoked can apparently replicate sensations of a near-death experience or a dreamy state.
Since the cops found chemicals needed to create the drugs, the students have been arrested and now face up to 20 years in prison and fines of $1mn according to the Drug Enforcement Administration’s federal trafficking penalties for a Schedule I drug like DMT.
