[1]Mallika Sherawat is back in the news, because of her upcoming film Hisss which is set for release on October 22, the same day that Ram Gopal Varma’s Rakhta Charitra will be released.
While Mallika and Ramu have never worked with each other, sparks have flown between the two on more than one occasion. For Contract, Ram Gopal Varma included a scene where a police inspector is shown talking suggestively to Mallika’s photograph, getting aroused at the same time. Ramu said at the time that Mallika had an interesting role in the film. Mallika responded by saying that Varma would be served with a legal notice.
The last time Mallika Sherawat and Ram Gopal Verma clashed was when their films Maan Gaye Mughal-E-Azam and Phoonk hit theatres on the same day. After Ramu’s horror film managed to pull the crowds away from Maan Gaye, Ramu observed that a crow in Phoonk had beaten Mallika’s sex appeal at the marquee. Needless to say, this comment did not go down well with Mallika, although Ram Gopal later patched things up with her and even visited her on the sets of Hisss.
Wonder if they are still getting along when their films go head to head later this month?
