Language schools lure youngsters

Be it the cool ambience, mouth-watering food or simply the crowd, foreign language institutes are the new hangout zones for youngsters. With youngsters interested in diverse cultures, they are now moving towards language schools to learn international languages like French, Japanese,?Italian and Mandarin.
The crowd, the ambience and the activities there are some of the things that attract youngsters. Mrinalini Sundar, a media student, says, “These language schools offer an environment that is very appealing. I hangout at one of these schools just for its café. It’s one of the best places to meet up with friends and spend some quality time. The crowd that comes here is very hip and makes it fun for youngsters like us to interact.”
“As these institutes provide a globalised environment in such institutes, they are the ultimate spots to hang out with acquaintances and learn a foreign language too,” says Aruna R., a chartered accountant student.
Nitin Dugar, a final year college student, says, “Some of these institutes offer delicious food pertaining to that particular culture. With lovely food and a great multi-cultural crowd, what could be a better place than this.”
Vaishnavi Kumar, a Japanese trainer says, “The atmosphere that these schools offer is a completely different experience. These places organise culturals and events and you also get to meet new people and learn a language. With such activities, I wouldn’t mind spending my weekend at these places.”
Harshini Vakkalanka a media student learning French, says, “Allaince Française is a great place to be in. Be it the environment or the crowd it’s a cool place to learn and enjoy. It’s always nice to explore different cultures.”
Gayathri Chandrasekaran, who’s learning Japanese, says, “The liberty and the ambience that these schools provide are their selling point. We throng such institutes for their atmosphere, as it’s considered to be a ‘one stop shop’ to learn and enjoy.”
