And it’s Aisha that’s giving wings to Lisa’s dream. “I essay the role of a career woman, who has just flown back to India from New York. Aarti Menon is a confident, woman with an independent mind. Something quite similar to my real self. My father is an Indian while my mother is an Australian and I have grown up in India and America. So for me the role was simply a matter of playing Lisa on screen. By the way, Aisha, the protagonist is not very fond of my character. But in real life, Sonam and I got along very well. In fact all the women formed quite a gang of girls on the sets,” she recalls.
