The Delhi BJP is leaving no stone unturned to make the proposed rally of Narendra Modi, scheduled for September 29, a huge success. The party leaders on Tuesday unveiled “Operation Blitzkrieg.”
City BJP president Vijay Goel claimed that the party was working on a “high-decibel 360 degree publicity campaign” to ensure maximum impact of the rally. Mr Goel is undertaking “prabhat pheris” and “padyatras” in all the 280 mandals across the city. He also informed that BJP leaders Sushma Swaraj, L.K. Advani and Rajnath Singh will hold different rallies later. He, however, did not say whether the three leaders will attend Sunday’s rally or not.
“The party is using state-of-the-art technology to ensure that not only those who attend the rally can have a life-time experience listening to Mr Modi, but those who are not able to come to the venue due to constraint of space can hear him speak too,” Mr Goel said, while he unveiled a countdown clock for the rally.
Around 20,000 square feet area will form the enclosure for the stage. There will be three stages in all, with one main stage with a dimension of 80X40 sq feet. The two level main stage from where Mr Modi will be speaking will be eight-feet high from the central podium. The backdrop of the main stage will have a lotus structure with a screen engraved on it.
He said, “There will be two giant screens behind the stage and 20 LED screens within the ground. Around 5 lakh people are going to attend this rally. These 20 screens will ensure that those attending the rally can get a close view of the leaders at the stage.” To make the stage lively, there will be moving visuals in the backdrop that will carry the message in a subtle yet very impressive manner. Mr Goel said
