PC falls ill, but keeps her word

This is not the first time Priyanka Chopra has been a victim of fatigue and overwork. PeeCee has been living out of a suitcase for the past few weeks now. Naturally, the travel took a toll over the actress who has been touring the world for work commitments. Last week, she was scheduled to perform at an international awards ceremony, but was down with high fever even before reaching the venue. “She had rehearsed for a few days and knew her act really well. But due to her ill health, she could barely stand on her feet that day. Hence we offered to chop the act by a few minutes,” says a spokesperson of the show.
But PeeCee refused to make any alterations and stuck to the original format. “She had a word with Madhuri Dixit backstage and decided to stick to the original act. We had of course, arranged for a doctor on the sets,” adds the spokesperson.
