Yasin Bhatkal, co-founder of the banned terror outfit Indian Mujahideen, who was recently arrested by the Central agencies, has reportedly told his interrogators that he received instructions from his Pakistan-based handlers to carry out blasts in Hyderabad in February this year.
Two bomb blasts had rocked the crowded area of Dilsukhnagar in Hyderabad on February 21 this year, killing 17 people and injuring over 100.
According to sources, Yasin, alias Syed Mohammed Ahmed Zarar Siddibapa, told sleuths of the Central agencies that he had supplied explosive material to a person to be planted at various locations in Dilsukhnagar. Yasin was arrested from the Indo-Nepal border on August 28.
