Jagdish Singh Dhariwal-trained Bengaluru challenger Panamera was given a perfect ride by F. D’Silva to claim the Threptin Fillies’ & Mares’ Stakes, the highlight of the races held here on Sunday, in a pulsating finish.
After being prominent in third and fourth for most part of the 1800-metre race, Panamera quickened nicely inside the final furlong to win by a narrow margin, staving off the strong challenge of Neona.
