Ajay doesn’t have a script for Kajol

Ajay Devgn, who’s busy promoting his next film Satyagraha these days, says that he has no plans of returning to direction anytime soon. He also said that there are no immediate plans of working with his wife Kajol, be it in his own directorial venture or someone else’s.

“Kajol’s criterion for choosing a film is not the actor, director or the banner. Yes she would love to work with friends and family but if the character doesn’t appeal to her, she won’t do the film. I’ll approach her when I have something solid to offer. I don’t have a script right now. I want to direct but there are no immediate plans,” says Ajay.
From the Golmaal series to Son Of Sardar and now Satyagraha, Ajay has been constantly experimenting with his roles. “I have consciously tried to not stick to a particular genre. Be it a slapstick comedy or a serious film — I am equally passionate,” he says. Ajay also adds that he is happy for Rohit Shetty’s success. “He’s a good friend and a good filmmaker. He deserves the success and I’m happy for him. Now I cannot wait to start working with him on Singham 2,” he says.
