Thanks to his chain of link-ups and a not-so-bright looking career graph, Shahid Kapur had chosen to go underground and stay away from the paparazzi. But with his film Phata Poster Nikla Hero soon to be released, the actor is back in action.

Quite naturally, one of the first things the media asked him was to clear the air about his pictures with a mystery lady at theatres, nightclubs and gyms. But Sasha was quick to dismiss any rumour of a relationship.
“Shahid said he is very much single. He admitted that stepping out with female friends has become a problem due to the constant scanner that his personal life is under. He also made it amply clear that there was no chance of rekindling any romance with ex girlfriend Priyanka Chopra,” says a close friend of the actor.
Buzz is that PeeCee and Shahid have been approached for Balaji’s next film, but the concerned people are discreet about the whole thing.
