Dolly is hungry for more work

Dolly Ahluwalia has won many hearts, along with a national award, for the role of a quirky grandmother in Vicky Donor. The actress, who is now looking forward to her next Bajatey Raho, says that she feels more responsible towards her job after the National Award.
“The award has definitely given me a big boost. But now I have more responsibility. I have to be careful and do much better than what I have already done. My next film Bajatey Raho is a project I am confident about. I play one of the central characters, who faces everyday problems that people go through in life.”
The actress goes on to narrate a funny incident from the shoot. “The other actors felt I had the best lines in the film. So they decided on a tug-of- war to see who could improvise best on the dialogues.”
Besides being an actor, Dolly is also a well-known fashion designer who has styled top stars from the industry. She continues to be passionate about fashion designing. “I’m in love with my profession. I love to make people look real and not over-the-top.”
The actress hopes to work with many more actors from the industry. “I am hungry to work with good actors. I would love to work with Amitabh Bachchan. Among the youngsters, I want to work with Ranbir Kapoor. I had two scenes with him in Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani which were edited unfortunately. Maybe next time.”
