Ekta gives in to Imran’s request

Imran Khan and Ekta Kapoor are in the midst of giving final touches to Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai 2. Word has it that for the last few scenes of the film Imran has asked Ekta to allot a certain budget and a required team for the accessories and clothes for his look.

In the past, Ekta had sanctioned a budget of `20 lakh for Kangna Ranaut’s wigs that she wore in the previous film of the franchise. “Perfection runs in Imran’s genes. He wasn’t too happy with the accessories and clothes that were given to him by the team. Since the film is a period drama, Imran has envisioned a certain look for his character and wanted things to fall in place,” says a unit member.
And Ekta seems to have taken Imran’s plea into consideration. “Ekta’s films are known to be high on production value. She has asked the creative team not to compromise on any costs. Her brief to the team was to make the film look as unique and real as possible. Hence a team was assigned to meet Imran’s expectations,” adds the unit member.
Now if only more filmmakers were as accommodating.
