Chulbul Pandey is not Sona’s ideal man

She may be basking in wedded bliss with her man, Chulbul Pandey, in Dabangg 2, but Sonakshi Sinha says that in real life, she wouldn’t choose a life partner quite like the Robin Hood-esque cop.

“I am not the kind who’ll marry a man like Chulbul. The character is larger than life…plus, I have a long way to go. I am in no hurry to choose a man,” she says.
Sona admits that it was her good fortune that she could make her debut with Salman and work with other big shot Bollywood actors. “I am here because of Salman,” she makes no bones about admitting, adding, “It was he who asked me to slim down, be a part of celluloid. I’ve tried to do my best in Dabangg 2.” Sona also says she follows Sallu’s opinions when the superstar does proffer them: “Salman and I share a comfortable rapport on the sets. He always gives me his opinion, which I always consider because I know his advice always benefits me.”
As for her other advisor, it’s mom all the way for Sona. “It is mom who always telling me to take care of my diet — I simply can’t resist plum cake, cheese and chocolate desserts. My mom takes care of my wardrobe, she gives me tips on enacting certain characters in a certain manner. After watching my films, she also criticises my performances sometimes,” she smiles.
