Bangladesh’s Mohammad Sayum (68-67) finished on top of the leaderboard at the end of Round Two of PGTI’s pre-qualifying II for the 2013 season at the Golmuri Golf Course in Jamshedpur.
Sayum’s second round of 67 featured six birdies and two bogeys before he ended up with a total of seven-under-135.
In all, 42 players qualified from the pre-qualifying II for the final qualifying stage as 13 players were tied at the 30th position when the cut was declared at six-over-148.
Mohammad Jakiruzzaman Jakir (68-68), another Bangladesh golfer, was placed second at six-under-136 while overnight leader Aditya Singh Chauhan of Indore was third.
The final qualifying stage will be held at the Royal Calcutta Golf Club in Kolkata from Tuesday.
