Prachi, Rajeev surprise everyone with their sizzling chemistry

The unit of Krishan Chowdhary’s forthcoming flick, Main Joker is pleasantly surprised to see the great bonding between the lead pair Rajeev Khandelwal and Prachi Desai. Apparently, the couple share such a great rapport that most often director Vikram Tuli doesn’t even have to tell them how to react to each other in a scene. They do it beautifully on their own. Well, why wouldn’t they? Rajeev and Prachi are no novices. In fact they have successfully proved their acting prowess time and again and have enjoyed a long spell of star status in their respective television careers. And incidentally, both have been “discovered” by the inimitable Ekta Kapoor.
“Rajeev and I bonded like long lost friends when we met on the sets of Main Joker,” says Prachi, adding, “I’ve been most comfortable with him so far. There was this scene on the first day, where I had to get irritated and fight with him. Since he was the first person I bonded with on the sets, it was kind of funny having to fight with him in the first scene itself.”
And she is not the only one who is delighted about this rapport. Rajeev also sounds mighty excited about the new jodi, when he says, “Prachi and I go back a long way. We were both part of Ekta Kapoor’s Balaji soaps. Now when I see us together in this film, I wonder why no one thought of casting us together before.” Well, are the other filmmakers listening?
