[1]The Bihar police found itself in a tough spot after actor Amitabh Bachchan threatened to take legal action against the force for using posters with his photograph without his consent, in the Naxal-affected district of Kaimur. Police was forced to bring down the posters immediately after the threat.
The poster had a poem alongside Bachchan’s photograph, urging the youth to join the police. It was the brainchild of district SP Umashankar Sudhanshu.
The actor tweeted, “Just read news about my photograph being used by Bihar police..this is illegal, no consent taken or given, lawyers in action now.”
