The Telangana Joint Action Committee is planning to organise padayatras in all the Assembly constituencies in the Telangana region to bring pressure on T-ministers to force the Congress high command to take an early decision on Telangana.
“TJAC leaders and activists will soon undertake padayatras in all the Assembly constituencies in the region to bring pressure on T-ministers to join the movement and force the Congress high command to take a quick decision on Telangana,” said TJAC chairman M. Kodandaram Reddy.
To a question, he said the TJAC would be glad to work with the TRS on the Telangana demand and a meeting would be held shortly to chalk out an action plan.
Referring to Union home minister Sushilkumar Shinde’s statements on Telangana, the TJAC chairman said the comments were ambiguous.
